Lovely food and surroundings. Wide selection to choose from off the menu as well as the carvery option so should be something for everyone. Good options for kids. Staff polite and helpful. Only thing could mention for improvement is the time it takes to queue and order your food. Was waiting for a while to do this. Would definitely go back again.
Busy place, unfortunately we are not keen on seat and order at bar system. Staff tried to divert people to one side of restaurant. But no spaces. Carvery - meat was good, as were roast potatoes. Vegetables poor and soggy. Prices were reasonable. Parking easy.

Tried Wingfield farm for the first time the other day. Its a nice location, quite large in size so you can get seated easily it would seem. It was very busy when we arrived but the service didn't slow down. The staff were very nice and friendly.. With the exception of one of the people who greeted us, seemed a little grumpy. Other than that though the staff were fantastic, very warm and friendly. The decor is like most carvery style pubs, clean but nothing to write home about. We opted for the carvery and the food seemed OK. The roasts potatoes seemed a little like bullets but that's always the problem of keeping food under a hot light. The food though was OK for the price, I think they were a little mean with the portion of meat but I guess thus is were you start eating into their profit margins. All in all it was OK. Worth trying once if you've never been. Couldn't see myself rushing back, making a special trip but would happily eat there again if passing
Oh what a lovely time x my friends and i went to the Christmas lunch today. It was brilliant. There was a singer. Food. bingo and a raffle. The staff where great and lots of fun.. well done to Cathy and all the staff . Will be back soon
