It's ok. Not bad for walking the dog, but everybody else has had the same idea and the place is full of dog dirt! There is a small park area for younger children. You often get nice sunsets over the Humber which you can view from the pub. The pub is reasonably priced for food, and the food is acceptable. The Sunday carvery is really good for the money. There's plenty of seating and it can get quite busy. The pub is more about eating than drinking. The farmer's market every first Sunday of the month is really good.

Such a nice afternoon so thought we would go for the views. Quite busy for a Thursday lunchtime but served in reasonable time by very appreciative staff. Food excellent. Highly recommended.

Great location to explore and walk around. Good amount of parking and can be popular place to visit when there is an event on. Great place to explore both in summer time and winter and a place suited for all the family.

Love a little walk around this place, I've been going since i was a child. My only issue on this occasion was the amount of dog dirt I came across along the paths and forest areas. There was also multiple bags of dog dirt hanging from tree, presumably as there are hardly any bins to put them in. I'll continue to visit, as I now take my little one and she loves it. There are plenty of places to park and in summer you will more thank likely find an ice cream van.

Access to the park can be by foot, bike or car. A huge car/lorry park is available and access is from either side. There is no charge to park there, so it is a popular place to start. In the car park, there is a Tourist Information Centre, toilet and a mobile snack van (NO cafe!). Access for wheelchair users to the park and facilities is good. The paths and trails are well kept and accessible to all, and are popular with ramblers and dog walkers alike. There are roads from the North (Hull) that has access to the park without using the bridge. This means no bridge tolls! Not so lucky for the southerners, who have to pay the toll, BOTH ways!
